You should be getting an email from Penn Mutual before too long to submit the official application securely through DocuSign into their portal.

Here is what you can expect:

1. An email from our team within 24 hours that your information was received and input into the insurance company application system.
2. An email from Penn Mutual inviting you to complete your health history for the application.
3. Upon completion of the application questions, our team will be notified and a potential health rating may be assigned.
3.a. If a health rating is assigned we will reach out to discuss official rating, pricing and to allow you to choose a final policy size/structure.
3.b. If a health rating is not automatically assigned we will notify you that an underwriter needs to review the application and that additional requirements may be needed to get a health rating.

These may be:

  1. Questions from the underwriter
  2. An insurance exam
  3. Medical records from your doctor
